UPDATED: Work Day for Air Rifle and Air Pistol / November 19, 2023

Air Pistol and Air Rifle member families: Our backers are in need of updating and repair, so we’ve scheduled a work day on Sunday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m. Come help us get the range ready for the new season to begin in 2024.

We need carpet remnants measuring at least 2’ by 4’ to rebuild our backers. We will need 42 pieces in total. If you have carpet to donate, or know someone who does, email Ian Webb by clicking here.

Update for our Air Rifle/Air Pistol Work Day as of November 8:

We have a full supply of cardboard and staples for the day.

We need carpet pieces that are 2' x 4' or larger for the backers. We need 2 carpet pieces for each of the 21 backers for a total of 42.

We will also need additional heavy-duty staplers capable of using T50 staples and tools to remove heavy-duty staples.

There are a lot of lead pellets in these backers and we will be collecting the lead as we go.

We will need people to:

  • cut carpet and cardboard,

  • remove staples and old cardboard,

  • remove carpet and recover pellets,

  • replace carpet and staples on new cardboard, and

  • clean up as we go.
