Represent Shooting Sports at the Rooftop Rodeo on July 10, 2025
Larimer County 4-H Shooting Sports has an awesome opportunity to represent our program at the Rooftop Rodeo in Estes Park on Thursday, July 10. It's Locals Night at the Rodeo and it will be an amazing time to promote and raise funds for Shooting Sports.
We need 15–20 participants, including parents/chaperones.
Members and parents/leaders should come prepared to talk with rodeo attendees about the 4-H program, how it works, and most of all, how it benefits our youth!
Promotional Table
A table will be provided on the midway. We will set up with a banner and flyers to promote our organization.
We will staff the table from setup at 4:15 p.m. until the rodeo begins at 7:00 p.m.
Grand Entry Wagon
A few members will have the opportunity to ride in the grand entry wagon as our organization is announced.
Wagon riders will meet volunteer KJ at the east security gate on the midway at 6:30 p.m.
Pass the Boot
Pass the Boot is an opportunity for audience members to donate cash as boots (provided) are passed around. Pass the Boot happens after Team Roping.
Meet volunteers David and Julie Fischer at the mutton busting table on the midway during Mutton Busting at 7:40 p.m. David and Julie will give instructions and organize the group.
Our group will collect and keep the proceeds from the evening. We will have an adult in charge of counting the total and letting David and Julie know the number.
Wear Your 4-H Shirt
Wear a 4-H shirt—if you have the red Larimer County 4-H Shooting Sports shirt from last year, that's a great choice.
